3. UGRA Needed Immediately for Research on Minority Groups--Opportunity to Continue Fall
Counseling Psychology lab is looking for 1-2 RAs interested in research on women and/or racial/ethnic minority groups. Positions are for summer (starting immediately) with the possibility of continuing into fall/spring. Fall and spring opportunities may be done for PSY 4/5993 credit. Primary tasks involve data management/collection and participant recruitment; ability to travel to other local universities a plus. 4. Use your Statistical Knowledge! Full-Time Position with Martin Calibration
Martin Calibration is currently hiring full-time positions with full benefits for individuals with psychometric, statistics, math, or engineering backgrounds to work in their laboratories. Individuals with military experience are highly touted (though not required). Martin Calibration is a metrology company, which focuses on the science of measurement. Nearly all measurements are inexact, so the company ensures we rely on specific standards so the uncertainty of measurements are within a particular range. The company also focuses on quality assurance by making sure the quality requirements for a product or service will be fulfilled. Responsibilities include: Apply knowledge of measurement science, mathematics, physics, and electronics to calibrate inspection, measurement, and test equipment in the electrical, dimensional, and/or physical disciplines to ensure measurement accuracy; identify and utilize appropriate measurement procedures; perform corrective actions to address identified measurement problems; adapt equipment, standards, and procedures to accomplish unique measurements; maintain calibration standards. 5. Bilingual (Hmong) Support Employment Specialist Needed for Persons with Disabilities
Dependable Home Health Care is seeking a highly motivated professional to support people with disabilities in the community with their current employment positions and assist in securing potential employment opportunities for those who need it. The Supported Employment Specialist will provide value to our clients by working one on one through a discovery process to develop a customized employment experience in the clients language, Hmong. Preferred candidates will have experience working with disabled individuals and be fluent in the Hmong language. Qualified candidates will have the an Associate's Degree or equivalent, 6-12 months experience working with persons who have developmental disabilities, a valid Minnesota driver's license, reliable transportation, and a clean driving record. 6. Assist Individuals with Disabilities! Part-Time Weekday Position with Dependable Home Health Care
Dependable Home Health Care is seeking Direct Care Counselors to join a team for a weekday position at a group home in White Bear Lake/Maplewood and a weekend position at a group home in Ramsey County. The Direct Care Counselors will work directly with persons served in the implementation of the written Individual Support Plans, documenting progress and response to program services, and ensuring the safety and well-being of each person. This individual generally works without direct immediate supervision in the performance of assigned tasks. The weekday position works Monday - Friday 4-9pm for approximately 25 hours per week. 7. Lead Direct Care Counselor Position with Dependable Home Health Care
Dependable Home Health Care is seeking an organized and experienced Lead Direct Care Counselor to join the team at a group home in White Bear Lake/Maplewood. The Lead Direct Care Counselor will work directly with persons served in the implementation of the written Individual Support Plans, documenting progress and response to program services, and ensuring the safety and well-being of each person. In addition, the Lead Direct Care Counselor will directly coordinate and deliver supportive services for 1-4 individuals with disabilities living in their home. This individual generally works without direct immediate supervision in the performance of assigned tasks and acts as the first point of contact and provides staffing coverage when the Designated Coordinator is unavailable. Ideal candidates would have at least two years experience working in this field. Knowledge of DHS licensing rules 245B and 203 is ideal.
