Psi Chi is the International National Honor Society in Psychology. It's a great way to improve your resume and become eligible for new opportunities within the field of psychology. 2. Human Trafficking: A Global Conversation Event
Tuesday, March 8th, 6:30-8:00pm, Coffman President's Room
On International Women's Day, International Justice Mission UMN is partnering with the Hubert H Humphrey Fellowship Program at the UMN Law School to host an evening of conversation about the reality of human trafficking. Human trafficking is the third most profitable crime in the world with an estimated 2.5 million people trafficked worldwide. We invite you to join us for an evening of learning, conversation, and standing in solidarity with our fellow activists from many regions of the world: Middle East, Asia, Africa, and the Caribbean. Each of the Humphrey Fellows will be speaking about human trafficking through the lens of law enforcement, immigration, NGO, and law. Desserts and hot drinks provided.

Join University Student Legal Services, Pre-Law Society, and CLA Career Services for the annualCareers in Law Fair! This is a great opportunity to speak with representatives from law schools, government agencies, paralegal programs, nonprofits, criminal justice organizations, political offices, and LSAT prep programs. Stop by anytime to learn and ask questions about graduate school requirements, volunteer programs, internship experiences, and professions in the legal community. This fair is for anyone considering a career related to the legal field.

5. Yale Cognition & Development Summer Internship
Applications for the Yale Cognition & Development Lab's 2016 research internship program are now available. Our annual summer internship provides the opportunity for highly motivated undergraduate students to gain an intensive, hands-on research experience in close partnership with our full-time lab members. Opportunities are available both to study developmental psychology and adult cognition. Complete information about our research and internship program, as well as required application materials and an FAQ page, can be downloaded from our website, http://cogdevlab.sites.yale.edu/joining-lab. This year's internship will run from Wed., June 1 to Fri., July 29, 2016, and all applications should be received no later than Friday, March 4, 2014. 6. Summer Research Assistants Needed for Child Life Challenges Scale Study
The Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics Lab, run by Dr. Andrew Barnes, is looking for some undergraduate research assistants for the summer. His research project will focus on measuring the performance of a new instrument, the Child Life Challenges Scale, in a clinical cohort of children referred for developmental and behavioral problems. Just M-F daytime hours, no course requirements. Minimum of 1 semester commitment. Responsibilities include: Recruit, consent, and conduct assessments with parents of children in clinic, using iPads and REDCap software. Manage resulting data. 45-90 hours over one semester (negotiable based on student's credit needs). If interested please contact Dr. Barnes at drbarnes@umn.edu
7. Volunteers Needed for Cicchetti Lab in Child Psychology
The Cicchetti Lab is looking for students interested in transcribing interviews and interactions for studies involving maltreated children. Work is done on the St. Paul campus in the LES building and is very close to the Campus Connector drop off. We would also like to find a volunteer who could help us with the lab webpages. Do something different this summer through AIESEC and have an unforgettable summer break experience. 6for10, a project partnered with the United Nations supporting Sustainable Development Goal #10 (Reduced Inequalities). AIESEC, partnering with United Nations, will be sending 1,000 young people from the United States to 10 different countries on 6 week volunteer program to support Sustainable Development Goal #10, Reduced Inequalities. Join us on our event "#6for10 ; Reduced Inequalities" to learn more about the opportunities, enjoy some fun activities and foods!
